a day out in brighton

21st July 2010
These shots were taken when I returned to Brighton recently. We lived there in the 80's and our son, Adam was born there. It was looking well - helped by the glorious weather. All the photographs were taken in the grounds of the Brighton Pavilion, an eccentric building to say the least: mock-moghul on the outside with an imagined 'Chinoise' interior. The brass band played, tea & scones on the tea room terrace and the sun shone. Delightful.

The page turner is my personal favourite...leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Photo comment By Eamonn: love the talkimg telescope
Photo comment By monica: Never seen a tuba player close up. Odd the way this player of yours seems to be sucking the mouthpiece. Made me laugh again - and I too love the talking telescope.
