far too long awaiting

05th November 2011
It seems like an age since I had the chance to get out and take photographs. Today however was the day! The sun shone (most of the time anyway) there was no wind and the scenery was stunning. I wanted to photograph some stunted bonsai-like trees near Newport. These are hawthorn trees that grow no taller than a foot or so high because of their exposed location. They proved difficult to do, as they merge so cleverly with the rocks to which they cling. They are hard to differentiate from their surroundings.

So I cast about and got some other shots….here are two

Hope you like them………….
