Patsy's Dahlias

I had been meaning for some time to take some photographs of a remarkable flower bed; and on Thursday the light was right. The village of Partry, Co. Mayo, is dissected by the busy Castlebar - Ballinrobe road. A local lady called Patsy cultivates a roadside garden just for the civic pleasure of brightening up the village. As I was shooting, Patsy came and introduced herself to me and we had a lovely chat...so this News item is dedicated to her.
